Pre-Construction Manager

Stellar recruitment has partnered with a leading commercial construction company based in Tauranga who are looking for a Pre-Construction Manager due to growth in their business. This position can be based in either Waikato or the Bay Of Plenty as they have plenty of growth across both regions.
Our client is a trusted main contractor that specializes in preconstruction, cost management, planning and construction that has an awesome team culture proven by the length of tenure’s the staff hold. They have an outstanding name in the construction industry and work on a wide array of design + build projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare construction programmes and methodologies
- Engage early with contractors during tender preparation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
- Participate in pricing
- Prepare tender and construction programmes
- Competent technical writing skills for Methodology and Site Specific Plans
- Working on Bids with Early Contractor Involvement and design and Build projects
To be successful you will have:
- Vast experience in design + build commercial construction projects
- A background as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager with proven NZ experience
- A relevant construction degree
- MS Office & Project Management software expertise
- Excellent communication skills
- 3-5+ years’ experience in a Pre-Construction position
