Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Videographer and Editor to join our social media team. This role involves creating compelling visual content that engages our audience across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for storytelling through video, excellent technical skills in filming and editing, and a keen understanding of social media trends.

Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation:
  • Produce high-quality video content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) that aligns with our brand's tone and objectives.
  • Capture compelling footage through various techniques (e.g., interviews, action shots, product demonstrations) to effectively communicate our message.
  1. Editing and Post-Production:
  • Edit and enhance video content to optimize for each platform's specifications and audience preferences.
  • Use creative editing techniques, graphics, and effects to deliver engaging and shareable videos.
  1. Collaboration and Planning:
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm ideas, storyboard concepts, and plan video shoots.
  • Ensure alignment of video content with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  1. Technical Proficiency:
  • Operate video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio devices proficiently to achieve high-quality footage.
  • Maintain and organize video files, ensuring efficient post-production workflow.
  1. Stay Updated on Trends:
  • Stay current with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously improve content strategy.
  • Implement innovative ideas and formats to keep our content fresh and engaging.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a videographer and editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your video production and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and experience with motion graphics and visual effects tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video specifications.
  • Creative mindset with a strong eye for visual composition, storytelling, and brand aesthetics.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
