What You'll Do:

As a Night Auditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of night-time activities at Kimpton Margot Sydney and Hotel Indigo Potts Point. You will conduct nightly audits of hotel revenue and expenses, prepare daily revenue reports, and uphold IHG brand standards and local regulations. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Night Manager in maintaining efficient internal controls, providing exceptional guest service, and ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Perform the Night Audit process according to established procedures, ensuring accurate reconciliation of daily revenue and expenses.
• Balance accounts and post outstanding charges to guest accounts.
• Support in maintaining internal controls to prevent theft and fraud.
• Assist with Accounts Payable processes as needed.

Guest Experience:

• Serve as the first point of contact for guest queries and escalate issues as necessary.
• Greet guests warmly and ensure personalized service throughout their stay.
• Recognize and acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and VIP guests.
• Respond promptly to guest needs and ensure satisfactory service recovery.
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to promote hotel facilities and services.

Operational Support:

• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Participate in training sessions and maintain compliance with brand standards.
• Conduct thorough shift handovers and maintain communication with the incoming shift.
• Uphold Pro-invest Group and IHG guidelines regarding safety, security, and operational protocols.

Accountability:

• Report directly to the Manager on Duty and collaborate closely with hotel leadership teams.
• Maintain high standards of performance as measured by internal audits and performance reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in Night Audit or Hotel Reception roles, preferably with knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (NSW) required.
• Full Driver’s License (or current provisional license towards achieving full license).
