Details: ACT Government is seeking an experienced Microsoft Identity management specialist (IDAM), for a period of six months with the potential to be ongoing.

We're seeking a proactive individual to administer and support critical systems including Active Directory, Entra ID, and ViewDS Directory. In this role, you'll manage servers, utilize PowerShell scripting, and provide essential support for DFS solutions. This role requires:
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) - Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au)
- an Australian Government NV1 security clearance, or be prepared to transfer an existing security clearance, which will be sponsored by the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate.
- For suitable applicants ACTGOV will sponsor new NV1 clearances.
- To be eligible for an NV1 security clearance, you must be an Australian citizen. If you are not successful in obtaining a Security clearance, your employment in the role will not commence. If already commenced, your employment will be terminated.
- Current Australian Driver's License.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
