Details: ACT Government is seeking a Senior Full Stack .Net Software Developer, for a period of 6 months with the potential to be ongoing.

The role of the Senior Full Stack .Net Software Developer is to act as a subject matter expert for a host of ACT Government developed and maintained .Net applications.

Work with immediate team members and other teams within Digital, Data and Technology solutions to troubleshoot and deliver outcomes for the ACT Public Service.

This position will give the opportunity to work with and learn from some highly skilled developers and build masters, looking for a strong understanding and experience in all areas of IT, particularly the Microsoft Azure and 365 suite.

This position is a Hybrid working arrangement that is primarily working from home / remote.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) - Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au)
  • This role requires a current CMTEDD Personnel Vetting Program (PVP) Security Clearance, or be prepared to transfer an existing security clearance, which will be sponsored by the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate.
  • For suitable applicants ACTGOV will sponsor new CMTEDD Personnel Vetting Program (PVP) Security Clearances.
  • Current Australian Driver's License.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months, with the possibility of extension. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
