We are currently seeking a Chief Technology Officer to join our Team at our Administration Office located at West Kempsey, NSW.

About the role

The main aim of this role is to assist the organisation in maintaining and monitoring its information technology and service-related assets, vendor management, and physical and cyber-related security compliance to meet best practice and regulatory requirements.

The role covers all aspects of IT services within the Coastline network, from supporting local PCs, servers and third-party hardware to administering and maintaining a number of cloud services and high availability data/voice networks.

 Responsibilities:

• Maintain physical security across Coastline’s network including cloud services, server networks and data facilities.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and associated operating environments.
• Ensure device security is maintained to regulatory guidelines.
• Manage core banking software and banking App.
• Foster a robust compliance and risk framework.
• Comply with regulatory requirements including APRA Standard CPS234 Information Security.
• Prepare Information Technology Board and Committee reports.

What you need to succeed

• Behaviour that aligns with our core values 
• Sound knowledge of cyber security frameworks 
• Comfortable with Windows, and cloud environments
• Experience with IT Security Infrastructure such as VPNs, data interconnects and DNS.
• Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and monitoring.
• Experience in presentation and negotiation skills at a managerial level. 
• Decision making, analytical and conceptual skills to assist in strategic planning and implement business strategy.
• Experience in all aspects of staff and team management and development. 
• Previous experience at Management level of an equivalent/comparable organisation, for a minimum of 5 years. 
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Management, or related disciplines. 
• Industry certifications in a technical field. 
• Knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, business practices, relevant legislation, banking prudential standards and codes.
• Proven relationship building skills including dealing with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Ability to self-manage and prioritise to meet performance expectations and deadlines. 
• A desire to work within a demanding and dynamic culture of high performance.
