Metrics Recruitment is seeking a Marketing Director for a blockchain powered gaming platform. As the Marketing Director specializing in web3 and crypto, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing marketing strategies that resonate deeply with the crypto community. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be instrumental in driving success and enhancing the platform's presence within the web3 space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to the web3 and cryptocurrency markets, focusing on achieving maximum engagement and adoption.
  • Establish and enhance their brand in the Web3 ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with the CMO to align these strategies with broader company objectives, ensuring a seamless integration between product and token engagement efforts.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behaviour within the crypto community to inform strategic decisions and campaign designs.
  • Assist in managing partnerships with key influencers, thought leaders, and strategic partners in the crypto and gaming industries to amplify our reach and brand presence.
  • Drive the creation of marketing content that resonates with a web3-savvy audience, ensuring it is informative, engaging, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance and marketing metrics to continuously optimize our outreach efforts.
  • Conduct market research to identify target markets, understand customer needs, and develop buyer personas
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, influencer partnerships, and community engagement
  • Drive brand awareness and thought leadership in the web3 space through content creation, thought pieces, blog posts, and speaking engagements
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in web3 marketing and decentralized technologies.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Support event marketing efforts, including industry conferences, meetups, and virtual events

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in marketing within the blockchain, cryptocurrency, or Web3 space.
  • Strong understanding of decentralized technologies, including blockchain and smart contracts
  • Demonstrated success in managing token engagement campaigns and deep understanding of the crypto community’s dynamics.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of inspiring a team and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Web3 platforms, protocols, and tools.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique and impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing online communities.
