Golf Central has set a new benchmark in Golf Entertainment in Australia and, we are planning lift the bar again with our $15m expansion. More golf bays, more bars, a brewery, a distillery, more event spaces and more dining options, means more fun for our patrons.

Golf Central is Brisbane’s premier golf and entertainment venue located just 8km from the Brisbane CBD at the entry to the bustling Brisbane Airport and beside the DFO. We are home to Brisbane’s first Top Tracer driving range with ball tracking technology and gamification, 18-hole mini golf course and our function spaces which overlook our stunning resort style landscape.

We provide unique and exciting experiences for all of our guests and host a wide range of events from birthday celebrations, social events, baby showers, wedding receptions and corporate events.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and charismatic Event Manager to join our team.You’ll have an eye for detail and a passion for customer service that can provide leadership and help us create a fun and vibrant environment for social and corporate groups alike.

As our Event Manager, you will build an events team over the next 12 months who will work hand in hand with the golf, food and beverage departments. You will lead the development and delivery of an innovative events offering:

The Events Manager responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Build, develop and lead a high performing event team.
  • Work with our kitchen and front of house team to create an extensive event offering that starts with kids’ birthday parties all the way through to groups and corporate events.
  • Develop and deliver a sales strategy to drive venue revenue.
  • Develop, implement and refine policies and procedures to ensure excellence in customer experience
  • Management of events to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Creation of client proposals, event contracts and associated run sheets
  • Liaise with the operational team to ensure the delivery of events always exceeds the customer expectations,
  • Participate in the business as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
