Our client is dedicated to providing top-notch logistics solutions. They pride ourselves on efficiency, reliability, and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our logistics team as aCustomer Service Coordinator.
Role Overview: TheCustomer Service Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the logistics team by assisting with various administrative and operational tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process requests for additional materials via email and in our inventory management system, handling approximately 70 to 140 transactions per week.
- Handle incoming phone calls from internal staff, triaging for action, taking messages, or forwarding calls, averaging around 5 to 50 calls per week.
- Process documentation including recruitment forms and budget reports, utilizing MS Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding invoicing, goods, or services, demonstrating initiative and providing proactive, high-quality customer service.
- Manage competing deadlines and priorities, reporting to two managers.
- Support consolidation of orders required for internal teams.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide courier support, working from the office.
- Strong data entry and numeracy skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Proactive attitude and ability to show initiative.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Must have experiance in a logistics role/ Customer service role.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
