This national certification organisation has an excellent reputation and credibility in the market due to its high standards and level of integrity across a range of sectors. This organisation offers a number of accredited programmes (ISO's, HACCP, Freshcare/HARPS) and aims to add value to their clients by offering independent verification and sound management practices.
Your new role
Reporting to the Board, the General Manager will be a pivotal figure in the internal leadership, operations and growth of the business, whilst ensuring a balance between high quality service and compliance is maintained. Recent investment in systems and processes has enabled an excellent relationship with accreditation bodies and laid the foundations to attract new business opportunities in previously untapped markets. You will work closely with the Board to identify and build new clients and increase the profile and benefits of certification and manage a small and dedicated team of Client Managers.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful person will need to have good people management skills to enable the existing and new auditing team to operate effectively without being micromanaged. Candidates with experience in auditing food scheme/ISO programmes or have lead certification training programmes are encouraged to apply.
