This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global and highly regarded renewables developer in Sydney. Due to continued further investment in Australia and New Zealand, our client is recruiting a Structured Finance and M&A Manager to add to their team. They wish to recruit a motivated candidate with experience in financing and/or M&A of infrastructure projects; preferred candidate to have had a focus on large scale renewable energy and storage projects in Australia.Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the team to help analyse, develop and support the origination and execution of renewable energy transactions in Australia/NZ.
  • Preliminary assessment of project opportunities, the analysis of development and M&A activities leading to financial close.
  • Preparation of an RFP/tenders response to M&A opportunities and assistance with PPA commercial offers.
  • Preparation of presentations and investment memoranda and providing conclusions and recommendations to senior management to support decision making.
  • Communicate with other internal departments including Legal, Finance, Project Development, Energy Markets, Construction, Asset Management and O&M prior and after Financial Close. *Leading project finance/M&A transactions to financial close by liaising with lenders, financial advisors, due diligence providers and legal counsel.

Experience

  • 5-10 years' experience in valuations and structuring of debt financing facilities for infrastructure assets in Australia. Experience with renewable energy/solar assets is highly valued.
