RoleSummary:

The ManagerService Management is a newly created opportunity in our Digitaland Technology Team based at our Perth CBD Head Office.

The purposeof this role is to implement the service management strategythrough the effective delivery of the IT Service Management programof work and to lead the technology change compliance process. Therole includes guiding Leaders, Service Owners and Technical ServiceManagers to plan, implement, manage and optimise informationtechnology services to meet business objectives and maintaincompliance.

Keyresponsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborate withPlatform Managers, Business Owners, and technology teams to setstrategies for IT service delivery that support the strategicneeds of the organisation, while overseeing the design,delivery, and improvement of end-to-end ICT services. Thisincludes managing the service catalogue, service levelagreements, incident management, problem management, changemanagement, configuration management, release management, andservice continuity management.
  • Collaborate withbusiness and technology teams to gather feedback on therelevance and effectiveness of service management and guide theService Management team to update and maintain the servicemanagement roadmap (including key upgrades to tools andimprovement in processes to drive efficiency and effectivegovernance).
  • Ensuresthat service delivery and system compliance is monitoredeffectively and that identified actions to maintain or improvelevels of service are implemented.
  • Lead andmanage a team of IT Service Management specialists to ensureeffective implementation and maintenance of standards, and todeliver and continuously improve their practices.
  • Maintaina strong understanding of regulatory and legislativerequirements that apply to the provision of technology servicesand systems.

Whatyou’ll bring:

  • Abachelor’s degree in computer science, InformationSystems, Business Administration is preferred but notessential. Qualifications in ITIL4 Practice Manager, ManagingProfessional, Strategic Lead, Master or equivalent ITIL3 ExpertLevel would be very well regarded.
  • Significant experiencein IT and business work experience with a broad range ofexposure to various business segments and technicalenvironments.
  • Demonstrated knowledgeand application of relevant service management frameworks,standards, and best practices, such as ITIL.
  • Previousexperience leading a Service Management function according toITIL standards.
  • Demonstratedinfluencing, relationship management skills, and proven abilityto communicate effectively with all levels of thebusiness.
