Our professional team is recruiting for an experienced Electrical estimator (NPI / Capital Works) to join one of WA’s busiest Electrical contractors. As an industry leader whose market coverage has grown substantially in the past 3 years, this role has come about due to market demand. You’ll be working with a proven Electrical solutions driven business, in a role that offers a strong career journey as they continue a strong upward trajectory which includes full mine site construction and capital works delivery.
This role will see you join a dynamic business, driven by a fantastic executive team with an expansive WA market knowledge and a passion to deliver detailed and qualified solutions to WA’s resources sector.
This role will see you take a lead role in the Estimation and bids management of projects ranging from 300K to 10M as you provide a client focussed solution that holds transparency and detailed scope of works as a core function. Building on established strong relationships within WA’s resources sector (Owner/Operators) the delivery model is underpinned by detailed tender solutions that push scope past a generalised level and doesn’t rely on pricing based on potential variation clauses.
We’ll need you to
- Have a detailed knowledge base across WA’s Electrical projects within mining, industrial & infrastructure.
- Have the ability to build detailed bids and tenders from operator scopes & drawings (Being able to dig into the scope and identify to clients' actual need as an overall bid)
- Be tertiary qualified within the Electrical industry (Trade / Engineering / Time served)
- Have a familiarisation with leading miner's scope requests (BHP, FMG, Rio Tinto, etc)
- Be looking to step up and lead where required as the business grows.
Within your Estimator roles, we’ll see you:
- Perth metro based SOR (No site requirement)
- Join the leadership team and provide strong commercial acumen as the Project and Leadership team
- Build comprehensive RFQ, Bids & Tenders including trackable wins/loss sheets
- Ability to flush out scope of works / Bill of works to incorporate full project need (Build it from half a drawing & a scope page)
- Support leadership group in pipeline reporting, growth potential and on-project costing
