UGL Transport is looking for a passionate & enthusiastic Engineering Programs Manager to join our team.
Job PurposeThe primary role of Engineering Program Manager is to ensure that the engineering scope of all projects within the portfolio are planned, resourced, and implemented to meet the objectives of cost, schedule, and quality, and in compliance with UGL policy and quality standards. The position will set technical direction and uphold standards for engineering teams in the engineering component of projects and product development activities within the Manufacturing and Maintenance – Transport sector of UGL. This role is defined as a Rail Safety Worker.
Responsibilities- Leadership and line management of the Project Engineering team
- Mentoring and coaching of the project engineering team to enable skillsets to be developed and honed
- Develop and deliver training in the area of project engineering management
- Successful delivery of individual projects in accordance with PMBOK principles

Qualifications- An appropriate Engineering Degree from an accredited tertiary institution or equivalent
- Chartered credential (CPEng) or eligibility to attain through IEAust
- Additional relevant specialized training (eg MBA or Post Graduate studies in business management, culture change, project management, engineering management, commercial contracting, advanced negotiating, etc)
- Eligibility to obtain Rail Safety Worker status
