Meridian is a high performing and deeply respected organisation. They are now seeking a new CEO to help take them on the next phase of their journey.
Meridian is a high performing and deeply respected organisation. They provide services to the LGBTIQA+ community, as well as sex workers, people living with HIV, into aged care and with drug and alcohol programs. They have a proud history and heritage around HIV/AIDS support, volunteering and have been a flagship for activism in and around the Canberra region for over 40 years.
They continue to refine their strategy to meet new diverse needs including transgender, aged care navigation and the constant community sector challenge around funding. They are now seeking a new CEO to help take them on the next phase of their journey.
Description
As an organisation Meridian has grown and diversified, re-branded and evolved and management of new avenues of service will be key.
The incoming CEO will need to be across new service delivery models, including primary health, aged care, sexual health testing, public health and development of fee for service training and education. Change management from quality leadership will be critical in navigating the future for Meridian.
This is a role for someone to manage with risk, develop and implement high quality governance and engage with and advocate to the highest levels of the ACT government on behalf of a diverse community and membership.
Profile
We are seeking an experienced leader, with an unwavering commitment to community, someone passionate about health and wellbeing outcomes. You will need to bring savvy to innovate, diversify funding, develop quality and grow collaborative relationships across the sector.
The CEO will be expected to hold trusted and transparent relationships and work collaboratively with the Board. Externally relationships with Meridian's stakeholders, partners and peers organisations throughout the sector are critical to success.
