Working closely with these two Vice Presidents and other key Executives, this role is responsible for coordination of day to day activities and regular business rhythms of the LMANZ business. You will add value through understanding business development principles and strategies and how they relate to the continued growth and business of LMANZ, as well as the coordination of office and programmatic area activities and functions on behalf of the Chief Executive and VP Operations.Duties will include but not be limited to:Coordination of senior executive international visits including logistics, objectives, program information and communication activitiesFull spectrum external event management – managing and directing every aspect of key Global Business Development and Strategy (GBD&S) eventsPreparation of materials and coordinating the execution of the business rhythms and recurring reportsAnnual Market Plans and preparation of briefings required by the VPPreparation of high quality written products for both internal and external audiences at the most senior levelsContribute extensively to the creation of an effective workplace cultureAssisting in preparations for internal and external customer meetings, as required by the VPCoordination or tracking of data requests of the LMANZ offices by LM executive staff and othersProvision of support to key LM projects; including activities related to strategy developmentResearching, prioritising and following up on issues and concerns addressed to the VPFinance Management – Oversight of GBD&S budgets and monthly reporting to Chief Executive on financial metrics.Experience & competencies (About you)As an experienced and communicative leader, you will easily build rapport and strong relationships with both internal and external Stakeholders. Your ability to think strategically, while ensuring deadlines and project timelines are met, is second to none. With proven experience in a similar role, you have the confidence to hold yourself accountable, while enjoying working in a dynamic and challenging environment. Ideally you will hold a Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution, and/or extensive relevant experience.To be successful in this role you will also have:Extensive professional experience and business success in a similar roleRelevant Management/Leadership training and/or qualificationsAbility to concisely articulate talking points (presentation and written)Demonstrated high initiative with broad experience and interest in the global security businessCredibility with high levels of professional discretion and ability to maintain confidenceAbility to prioritise multiple tasks, with excellent attention to detailSuperior organisational and time management skillsHighly proficient using Microsoft Office productsAbility to work autonomously in an Executive environmentWhat we offerAt Lockheed Martin Australia, we empower you to be your best.
