Hampers With Bite is part of Prestal Holdings and is an ASX-listed business with plenty of growth opportunities for the successful candidate.

About the role 

This role will own the marketing and digital budget for the brand and, in partnership with Creative, Marketing, and Operations teams, ensure a consistent brand message and customer experience. The Head of Ecommerce will manage the marketing team will set and oversee a detailed calendar of activities and lead a multi-disciplinary marketing and digital team tasked with the execution of multi-channel marketing activities.

The successful candidate for this role will have a strong grasp of current digital marketing tools and strategies. 

This is a hybrid role, 3 days in our office in Fitzroy, and travel will be required to our Warehouse in Altona North once per week.

About the role:

  • Join the leadership team of HWB, reporting to the General Manager, and be involved in business-wide strategic decisions contributing to our future success and growth.
  • Develop and oversee the brand content and communications strategy across Marketing & PR, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, and CRM.
  • Develop and manage the budget for all related activities.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy to drive online traffic, sales and conversion, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
  • Understanding of multi-channel, and the website’s role in both online and offline transactions, 
  • Highly autonomous role with ownership to craft a vision for online excellence, and lead a driven team for execution
  • Understanding of key profit and loss drivers, ability to forecast and impact future performance through; 
    • Conversion rate optimisation
    • Content and merchandising strategy
    • Collaboration with other senior leaders and departments to enhance the customer experience end-to-end
    • Identify opportunities and resolve issues and errors

Skills/experience 

  • Proven achievements in e-commerce roles
  • Experience and success in leading teams, ability to help your team grow, develop and be the best versions of themselves
  • Hands-on experience working with ecommerce platforms
  • Strong understanding of online merchandising & search techniques
  • Advanced skills with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools
