About the Opportunity

As our Technical lead, you’ll spearhead innovation, drive excellence, and shape the future of our technical infrastructure.

Reporting to the CIO, a significant focus of this role involves maintaining and enhancing Paragon Care proprietary built eCommerce platform as well as managing integrations with other essential merging systems.

In collaboration with business stakeholders, the Technical Lead will ensure that the technical strategies not only support but also drive business objectives. This role requires a proactive leader who can navigate complex technical landscapes and deliver solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the implementation of projects, change requests, defects and ongoing maintenance for the eCommerce platform and other related applications
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to thoroughly understand the requirements for changes and enhancements to the eCommerce platform.
  • Lead the technical design process, translating business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Directly engage in the full stack development of the eCommerce site and other relevant applications, writing and debugging code.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive testing procedures to validate the functionality, performance, and security of the eCommerce platform.
  • Manage and maintain the integrations between the eCommerce site and various systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and data consistency.
  • Provide expertise in technical decision-making, including the choice of systems architecture, development languages and tools, and processes.
  • Lead the team in adopting and implementing best practices, including delivery using Agile and improved efficiencies using DevOps
  • Manage team of offshore developer(s) In addition lead and mentor an internal Business Analyst to support in defining requirements and testing.
  • Resolve application and technical issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to services and maintaining high levels of performance and security.
About you

You are ready to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front. This role will see you mentor a small team but also see you dive into the trenches. Your expertise will be instrumental in having:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Full Stack Senior Developer with a strong background in PHP, .net and MS SQL.
  • Strong SQL and relational database skills
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Experience managing offshore development teams and conducting code reviews.
  • Strong understanding and experience with unit and automation testing tools
  • Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
