Our client:Our client is a leading accounting and Wealth Management firm that focus on providing business, tax and wealth management advice to founders, business people and SME clients across varying industries. 

They are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a young and vibrant medium sized firm. This role will be great for someone who is interested in working closely with an affluent client base and complex tax structures. There is ample opportunity for career progression and an opportunity to grow into a director. 

This role has flexible working arrangements and hours if required. 

Role and responsibility:

  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct tax planning and compliance activities, including the preparation and submission of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Oversee an overseas team of accountants
  • Work closely with clients to help them make informed business decisions
  • Manage multiple client accounts and ensure that all work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work on projects as required 

Requirements
  • The successful candidate will have 3+ years experience in accounting
  • CPA/CA certification if highly regarded
  • Excellent relationship and communication skills are essential
  • Comes from a medium-large accounting firm that deals with HNW individual groups 
  • Xero experience is required
