The Technical Coordinator is a key member of the ICT Programs and Service Management team and will be responsible for facilitating and/or delivering the technical components across various ICT solutions. The position will be responsible for the provision of expert technical advice and is required to possess substantial knowledge across fixed and mobile networks, server infrastructure, databases and information security and applications software development lifecycle framework and methods.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
• Whilst not mandatory, a relevant tertiary or business qualification is highly desirable.
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
• Experience and/or detailed knowledge of the ICS technical infrastructure environment - supporting call and dispatch operations consisting of critical telephony, computer aided dispatch solution, mobile data solution and its networks, back end infrastructure, system integration and various applications software.
• Substantial technical and application knowledge of information technology environments which can be utilised to recommend to the management decision makers and the development of policy within a large diverse organisation.
• Demonstrated high level experience in managing, directing and co-ordinating internal and external technical resources within a diverse, complex organisational environment, specifically in relation to successful project delivery and achieving quality outcomes.
• Technical co-ordination skills with a proven track record of achieving quality outcomes within a corporate Project Management Framework.
• Extensively developed skills in negotiation, consultation and communication (written and verbal), with a diverse group of stakeholders in an environment of change.
• Experience in the standard Software Development Lifecycle protocols and Project Management Frameworks.
• The ability to contribute to technical design and architecture decisions and experience in developing technical requirements specification, quality assurance and transition to support documentation.
