We are seeking an experienced Project Managerto join the team and provide a fresh and innovative mindset to the business’objectives. The purpose of this position is to achieve delivery ofplanned time, cost, and quality metrics for projects in line with NEPEANConveyor’s policies and procedures. This position is responsible for planning,overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion.

Core responsibilities include however are not limited to:

• Understandand follow Nepean goals and NDNA
• ISO Adherenceto all certifications
• Developan effective Project Execution Plan for each project.
• Successfullycoordinate and complete projects on time within budget, scope, and appropriatetimeframe.
• Overseeall aspects of projects including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities,and monitoring progress of the project.
• Preparestatus reports and present them to relevant stakeholders, including uppermanagement.
• Liaisewith design engineers, technicians, site supervisors, commissioning engineersand contractors as required.
• Supervisefabrication, procurement, installation, and construction work to ensureefficient standards of workmanship and work schedules are maintained.
• Conductregular site inspections.
• To workin a safe manner using appropriate Safe Work Instructions or Safety OperatingProcedures

The Right Person

We are interested in hearing from you if you have:

• TertiaryQualification in Engineering or related discipline.
• Projectmanagement experience, ideally within heavy industrial/mining industry.
• Experiencemanaging mechanical engineering design and development activities.
• Experienceassessing technical needs, identifying gaps, and providing resolution throughrecruitment, staff development, and outsourcing.
• Experiencestructural and mechanical assembly manufacturing techniques.
• Experiencesupervising technical professionals.
• Demonstratedability to lead multiple, technically complex projects from inception tosuccessful completion.
• Demonstratedability to communicate to senior management peers and subordinates that have avariety of cross-functional backgrounds.
• Demonstratedability communicating highly technical information to nontechnical audiences.
• Organisationaland time management skills.
