The Opportunity:
 An exciting role has opened for an experienced Legal Assistant in the Brisbane office.

This full-time position supports an esteemed Joint Global Head of Practice for Corporate and Real Estate, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, financial services, and private equity. As the leader of our corporate division in Australia and Asia, this partner requires dedicated and proactive support to manage the dynamic needs of his role and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing complex billing processes and client administration requirements.
  • Proactively organizing Partners' schedules, including extensive diary and travel management.
  • Preparing draft correspondences and documents for client communications.
  • Assisting with the coordination and preparation for meetings.
  • Collaborating effectively within our legal support team, including mentoring Administrative Assistants.
  • Handling a wide array of responsibilities and deliverables, ensuring efficiency and precision.
Skills & Experience:
We're looking for someone who is not only passionate about contributing to a team but also possesses:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Secretary within a professional service environment, preferably within legal services.
  • Expertise in matter management and billing, particularly with Aderant Expert.
  • The ability to anticipate the needs of the Partner to streamline administrative tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, with a flexible and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to forge effective stakeholder relationships.
