Job Description

About the role

The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and launching new products and creating and implementing a successful strategic direction. You will own and drive media plans and activations with specific focus within the digital space and will liase closely with sales, supply chain and management teams.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Advertising and promotional campaigns
  • Annual Brand plans and 5 year strategic plans
  • Trade and retail communications
  • Internal stakeholder management
  • Category Insights and research
  • Product management including stock control and cogs
  • Growth strategies and promotional program for retail partners and be the key marketing team point of contact for specific retail sales team.

Full time in office role based in Warriewood on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you 

  • Degree qualified in a relevant marketing or business related discipline
  • Solid experience within the FMCG space
  • Minimum 1-2 years as an Assistant Brand Manager or similar
  • Demonstrated cross functional collaboration experience
  • VMS experience advantageous
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills, must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong experience of NPD process, particularly project management
  • Experience in managing budgets and forecasting
  • Proven experience in development and execution of marketing and advertising strategies and product launches
  • A 'can do attitude' with the ability to 'think outside the box' - to differentiate your brand from competitors
  • Sound PC skills and intermediate skills in Microsoft applications
