Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant
Location: Sydney, Australia - CBD with WFH arrangement
Company Overview: Join a PE Backed Innovative E-Commerce company. They are growing fast internationally within a trendy niche.
Position Overview: As the Senior Financial Accountant you will ensure internal controls, management of compliance and audit requirements, and expertise in analysis and commercial decisions to make this role your own.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for global entities
- Provide insights and recommendations based on P&L and Balance Sheet performance analysis.
- Drive process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the global entities, collaborating with regional teams to develop accurate financial plans.
- Monitor performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage cash flow and treasury functions, ensuring adequate liquidity to support business operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and oversee audit processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- CPA or CA qualification is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Hands-on experience as a Financial Accountant
- Advanced analytical abilities and strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
