Maintenance Operations Manager - Join Brightwood Group in Sydney

Brightwood Group, a leader in commercial, industrial, and retail property maintenance, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our Sydney team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify gaps and implement processes as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Assist and coach the team to create efficiencies.
  • Coach and manage staff to achieve KPIs.
  • Manage and improve software systems like SimPro and Asana.
  • Manage onboarding, hiring, and termination processes for Maintenance staff.
  • Provide monthly reports on various metrics, including maintenance projects, sales, outstanding invoices, HR, suppliers, safety, fleet, processes, and forecasts to the leadership team.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of office team and technicians, including workflow management, priority restructuring, and accountability.
  • Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture with a focus on quality, safety, and environmental consciousness.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic business decisions and future growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency with software systems such as Simpro and Asana.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Construction industry white card.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Job security and regular hours.
  • Supportive and dynamic work environment.
