Reporting to the Head of FAR and Policy Governance, you will be a key part of the team, actively supporting the boarder team to design and execute governance arrangements for both FAR and Policy Governance.
As a Senior FAR and Policy Governance Manager, you will be part of a small team responsible for providing thought leadership and commercially pragmatic advice on FAR and policy governance.
Your key accountabilities in this role will include:
FAR
- Driving the FAR integration strategy including leading on in alignment with the ANZ Group FAR Framework (where relevant):
- establishing governance and management arrangements that support the accountable entity and its Accountable Persons compliance with the regime;
- supporting the effective operation of the FAR Breach Policy and processes
- Providing advice and liaising with Accountable Persons and their support teams to maintain Accountability Statements and the Map, including managing Regulator engagement and notification requirements under the regime.
Policy Governance
- Coordinating the Policy Governance integration work
- Designing BAU requirements in alignment with the ANZ Group Policy Framework (where relevant).
- Providing advice and liaising with Policy Owners and Managers on the implementation and ongoing BAU requirements
Role Location: Flexible across Australia
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring the following:
- Background in Legal/Risk or Policy
- Experience in dealing with APRA or ASIC would be an advantage.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and delivering to tight deadlines.
- Consider yourself to be self-driven and autonomous in your approach.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence/negotiate change.
- Comfortable managing priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk based manner.
- Resilience and a fast paced approach with a strong growth mindset.
- Enjoy working in a small, cohesive team environment.
