Your unique contribution

Reporting to the Pacific Financial Services Manager you will head up a team of Accounts Payable Officers and lead the accounts payable function across Australia and New Zealand for Pernod Ricard Winemakers.

This will include setting and implementing accounts payable policy, ensuring effective and timely processing and payment of outstanding creditors, and developing and implementing performance measurement and reporting.

We are looking for an experienced people leader who can develop the team and identify and implement improvements to systems and processes to bring new, efficient ways of working.

  • Responsible for setting and implementing accounts payable policy across Australia and New Zealand
  • Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team to ensure effective and efficient output across Australia and New Zealand
  • Lead and ensure an effective and timely invoice processing and payment.
  • Responsible for overseeing the preparation and provision of accurate and timely information for cash flow estimate purposes.
  • Manage ongoing internal relationships to ensure effective customer service is maintained.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for trade creditors control accounts and designated clearing accounts.

  • Established experience within Accounts Payable department of a large corporate organisation.
  • Previous people leadership experience and proven ability in developing a high performing team culture.
  • Good technical skills within excel and Power BI would be very desirable
  • Good attention to detail, with a high level of integrity, accountability, and good problem-solving skills
  • Adept in building trustworthy relationships to influence the decision process
