Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Collections officer who'll beresponsible for managing a portfolio ofShift customers, in an effort to collect overdue monies for early-stage commercial accounts. You will work with your customers to negotiate an appropriate payment plan while building strong relationships.

What you will be doing:

  • You'll perform routine collections work on overdue monies through inbound & outbound calls
  • You'll Negotiate with customers to determine a resolution of defaulted loans while maintaining accurate records &relevant information
  • Investigate & researchaccounts prior to initiating debtor contact by examiningdata & evaluating past collection efforts
  • Contributingto a collaborate team environment is something you will have the opportunity to do on a daily basiswhilst providing assistance to Senior Collections Officers
Qualifications

Year 12 qualification is essential and further education is advantageous

Skills that set you apart:

  • 3+years experience in a commercial debt recovery/collections role
  • Knowledge of relevant government rules, regulations and guidelines to perform your role
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to have difficult conversations with organisations and people experience challenging circumstances, remaining professional and respectful
  • Understanding of recoveries and managing your own portfolio of accounts within agreed timeframes
  • Experience with Salesforce client interface – highly regarded
