Work Science, one of Australia’s highly regarded safety and risk management consultancies is seeking a consultant to support the delivery of recent new project wins.

Work Science is an industry leader in health and safety, safety in design, property risk and compliance, asbestos and hazardous materials, occupational hygiene, applied research and risk management.

We have been practicing for over 20 years, leading the practical implementation of new safety science by understanding and applying the evidence base.

We find ways for clients to achieve great safety outcomes based on credible science and backed by tangible and measurable impact. We love seeing our clients succeed. Specifically, enhancing wellbeing, reducing injuries and illness, growing their peoples’ capability, or delivering a winning strategy.

We achieve this by considering the evidence base, developing contextual strategies, showing leadership, good management, thoughtful planning and disciplined implementation.

Our clients include large Australian corporations, government departments, property owners and managers, infrastructure agencies, construction companies, manufacturers and entertainment providers. Our reputation for solving complex WHS problems means we need a bright spark to join our Sydney CBD team.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree level qualification in a WHS-related field

• 1 - 2 years’ experience delighting your clients, colleagues and onlookers in a WHS role

• Tenacious, resourceful and willing to work outside comfort zones to learn and grow

• Strong technical writing and systems documentation skills with excellent attention to detail

• Audit and/or construction experience desirable

• Curious, inquisitive and capable to thrive in a commercial consulting environment
