Accounts Receivable Assistant

Excited to be working alongside our client in Perth to search for someone to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis as an Accounts Receivable Assistant.
You will join a group who are leaders in their industry, providing award winning services across Scotland. This role will be based in Perth, one of over 20 locations across the country where you will take responsibility for the Sales Ledger function within the group. Due to the size of the group and the nature of their business, this is a high volume department where confidence and ability are the key to being successful in this role. The successful candidate will:
- Maintain the Sales Ledger ensuring accuracy.
- Process invoices in a timely manner.
- Handle allocation of all money received from fund sources.
- Credit Control.
- Process direct debit collections.
- Manage a shared mailbox.
- Ensure the correct contractual and funding documents are in place as required.
- Handle phone enquiries.
- Develop and maintain internal and external relationships
Essential skills / knowledge :
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Good telephone skills
- Good literacy skills as regular correspondence with local authorities is required
Desired skills / knowledge:
- Proficient in using Sage200

Salary : up to £24k
Hours : 35 per week, office based
