Contract Length: Until 30/05/24 (chance of extension)
Location: Milsons Point/WFH
The Role
Our large NSW Government client is seeking a Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is critical in conducting investigative and ad-hoc data analysis, providing actionable insights, and producing high-quality documentation to drive improved outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver detailed and accurate analysis to inform management decisions.
- Communicate complex data effectively through visual and written reports.
- Support senior management with ad-hoc investigations and analyses.
- Develop and maintain reporting standards and documentation processes.
- Ensure data quality and compliance with corporate security and privacy protocols.
- Foster a collaborative environment and support team development.
Key Challenges
- Conduct data analysis with incomplete information.
- Proactively determine analysis scope and direction.
- Collaborate across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in corporate computing systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret trends and identify opportunities.
