Halo Civil Engineering is a West Australian-owned and operated civil construction company renowned for its flexible and innovated approach to delivering multidiscipline and complex infrastructure projects across various high compliance disciplines across Perth, remote and regional Australia.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business that has considerable metro-based work in hand which will allow you to live and work in Perth on major projects ongoing. As a Civil Supervisor you will coordinate and allocate site resources (plant/manpower and equipment) and oversee the daily production activity on site during construction of site roads (MRWA specs) and civil works involving extensive bulk earthworks, drainage, pavements and structures. You will ensure your crews’ adherence to the site OH&S management plan to drive an injury free safety culture and ensure OH&S compliance. It is essential that you are computer literate with proficient MS Office skills in order to provide relevant progress updates and manage reporting requirements. The successful candidate will be required to work as required by site so some Saturdays maybe required.
Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements
- 5+ years’ Civil Supervisor experience on West Australian civil sector including bulk earthworks, drainage and road construction while employed by Civil Contractors
- Proven success as a Civil Supervisor managing construction teams and effective utilization of plant and equipment to achieve project milestones on large Earthworks/Roads scopes of work.
- Previous experience building access roads or other roads/highways to MRWA and PTA specs for civil contractors.
- Strong understanding of HSEQ standards, rules and procedures.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels.
- Current WA C Class driver’s licence
