Gemini Pinkenba is one of the largest modern accident repair workshops in Queensland, with 20 staff and a team culture that includes everyone. The team supports one another and enjoys regular BBQs and nights out together, and there are great opportunities to develop your career and progress within the business. The shop is fitted out with modern equipment including pulling racks, Car-O-Liner speed benches, and a fully functional in-house mechanical workshop. The site is conveniently located 5 minutes from the M1 and 12 minutes from Brisbane CBD.
The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Repair Centre Manager to join and lead the team at Gemini Pinkenba.
Reporting to the State Area Manager, you will take ownership of this centre by providing leadership and motivation to your team whilst having a significant impact on the day-to-day operational running of the site. This permanent full-time role will provide you with opportunities for growth, stability and security as part of the bigger AMA Group.
Role responsibilitiesProduction Workshop Management:oversee production management of the workshop to ensure targets are achieved and vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition in accordance with AMA and Work Provider quality expectations.
- Quality, Quotes, Parts and Vehicle Management:ensure comprehensive and accurate quotes, QA inspections and vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition.
- Customer Service and Stakeholder Management:provide exceptional customer service to all clients and work providers through prompt, professional and friendly interactions.
- Profit and Loss, Reporting and Administration:ensure the site is operating profitability. Prepare and review P&Ls, Budgets, Job costings, KPIs, Management Reports by utilising the tools provided to understand site performance.
- Leadership and People Management:oversee staffing on site and ensure staffing levels and processes are in place. Proactively build and maintain positive work provider relationships.
- Work Health and Safety (WHS):ensure that the site remains safe by maintaining the WHS management system, all WHS policies and procedures are followed and safety incidences/near misses are immediately reported and actioned.
