Job Description

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Communicate with clients and government agencies regarding tax notices and audits.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive financial services to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and organised client records and documentation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA certification, or progress towards certification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software (XERO) and Microsoft Office Suite.
