A bit about the role

We are seeking an Area Leader Kindergarten Relief Operations to inspire confidence in staff and stakeholders alike, and play a key role in how Early Education and Care services are provided to the community of Wyndham ensuring that our services and activities reflect the growing and changing needs of our community.

The successful candidate will be passionate, determined and driven to lead engagement, onboarding and continuous development of the Early Education and Care Services (EECS) relief workforce.

This is an autonomous role where you will drive change and positive pedagogical outcomes to support your team leaders in providing quality, integrated Early Education and Care Services (EECS).

What you’ll deliver

  • Proactive and impactful pedagogical leadership and offer support and supervision to the relief workforce to foster effective teamwork and achieve outcomes.
  • Lead continuous improvement with innovative approaches to meet the challenges of a changing environment and improve Early Education and Care Services (EECS).
  • Coordination of a range of business operations and strategic projects to drive continuous improvement initiatives for the service.

What you’ll bring

  • A Tertiary Degree in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA or a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Familiarity with the principles and provision of Early Education and Care services and expert knowledge in relevant Local, State and Federal Government regulations, policies, guidelines and funding.
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of policies, regulations and guidelines regarding the management and delivery of the Early Years Sector
  • Current Working with Children Check
