The Right Candidate

This role would suit a more senior project manager who has experience running multiple projects in an agency or consulting setting and is looking for the next step in their career.

The Day to Day

No day will ever be the same As our Project Operations Lead, you will be working alongside the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Technical Officer and helping the team to deliver world-class projects and support to our clients. This means having the opportunity to learn from people who are exceptional at what they do while at the same time mentoring and managing them to ensure that they succeed. 

Some of the tasks you'll undertake include:

  • Lead all project operations, ensuring that our projects and support tasks run smoothly and efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to build a strong, focused delivery culture that connects with our clients and helps their businesses grow
  • Mentor and manage the Pipelabs team, helping to create a productive and positive work environment.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient delivery of our services, maximising client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate resourcing for quoting and scoping exercises, manage Pipelabs ‘Sprint 0’ requirements gathering processes
  • Carry out your daily responsibilities as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.

The Detail

This is a full-time role and will be hybrid, working from home and/or on-site at our West Melbourne office.

You bring your Operations and project management experience plus a willingness to mentor and grow the team, alongside:

  • Building out the core strategy and delivery for major client projects alongside a significant monthly account support function for all of our major clients
  • Coordinating and managing projects and support task priorities from concept to completion, management of the production schedule and working with the team and client resources to achieve excellent results
  • Using Productive (our project and resource management platform) to prioritise and deliver all of our work alongside team leads and other staff.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our work and our systems, alongside honing and enhancing these to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across everything we do

Compensation

The salary for this position will be $100-125k excluding superannuation. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.

Pipelabs is a niche eCommerce consultancy specialising in consulting on and building complex, integrated, highly usable and highly available eCommerce platforms. We work with a number of Australia's most well-known brands on growing and enhancing their eCommerce and Omni-channel businesses.

As a fast-growing and increasingly well-known technology consultancy, we are looking for someone who enjoys client contact, creating well architected eCommerce platforms and apps and who loves to innovate and solve problems.
