About the role
We are looking for an exceptional Quality Assurance Tester to join the Single Digital Presence (SDP) team. SDP is a web transformation program that is consolidating government websites and making it easier to find, understand and use Victorian government information online.
The Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for testing in an agile environment focusing mainly on manual test creation and execution, as well as providing advice and recommendations on all aspects of the testing process to ensure the solution is fit for purpose. This role requires extensive manual testing experience with knowledge of exploratory techniques along with the ability to think laterally and go beyond what is indicated in test scripts.
About you
To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Expert knowledge in non-functional and functional testing activities and user acceptance testing in a CI/CD environment.
- Working knowledge of performing testing functions within an Agile development teams using Scrum & Kanban in conjunction with a working knowledge of providing technical expertise, e.g. proper use of test techniques / tools in appropriate cases.
- A passion for web development and open source technologies as well as an awareness of using Git development workflows (e.g GitFlow).
- Working knowledge of content management systems.
