We are looking for a Child & Adolescent Psychologist ( Clinical Psychologist  or  Ed & Dev Psychologist  or  Psychologist)  to join our team as an independent contractor or employee (full time & part time available, flexible hours).

This would be a perfect opportunity for new graduates completing their endorsement as supervision and a range of supports are provided at no additional cost within the position.

Who are we?

First established in 2009, we are a group Clinical & Educational and Developmental Psychologists with diverse expertise and training in infant, child, adolescent and family psychology.

We are a highly innovative and creative team. We strive to create a relaxed and supportive environment. We foster strong collegial relationships and there is much opportunity for working with other practitioners in sibling/family and group work. We encourage a positive work/life balance with flexible hours and comprehensive administration support.

Our psychologists work from a range of frameworks including CBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, ACT and Schema. We have a strong psychometric assessment team that strives to work from client centred neuro-affirmative framework.

Location

MCPC is located at 30 Seddon Street IVANHOE and is walking distance from the train station and centrally located within Ivanhoe shops. 

What we offer our psychologists:

· Fully equipped therapy rooms appropriate to working with children, adolescents, and families. 

· Ongoing provision of referrals via our intake service that includes a thorough intake assessment and screening procedure.

· Electronic practice management diary that is accessible from anywhere & provides you with financial reports and summaries.

· Administration support that includes full reception services, appointment bookings, invoicing & account facilities, and support in completing Medicare reporting requirements. 

· Regular Clinical Psychology Supervision provided by a board approved Clinical Supervisor. 

· Regular Group Supervision and Professional Development. 

· Access to a range of client resources and a large clinical library. 

· Access to a range of psychometric tests & I-Pads for ease of testing. 

We are looking for applicants that: 

· Highly value client engagement via the use of counselling skills, competence in evidence-based intervention and reflective practise.

· Are fully registered with AHPRA as a psychologist or close to obtaining full registration.

· Have an ABN, Medicare Provider Number and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
