Senior Project Officer - Disaster Recovery

We are on the lookout for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic hands-on Senior Project Officer with demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team and implementing systems to join our Disaster Recovery Team. Although based in the South East Queensland Region the position will oversee a program that encompasses three regions while consulting at a state level.

Join our dedicated staff and make a meaningful impact by contributing to the long-term sustainability and conservation of the protected area natural and cultural values. In this role you will help coordinate the planning and delivery of a multi-million dollar program, restoring assets such as road and recreational infrastructure, as well as weed control projects following the February 2022 rainfall event.

To be successful in the role, you will also have:

  • Experience in project management particularly delivered within protected areas. .
  • Experience in using systems that manage work schedule and programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading small teams.
