RUC Mining is seeking an experienced Shaft Superintendent / Supervisor on 15/13 roster to join our passionate team of highly skilled people.

Shaft Manager Duties
Reporting to the Project Manager, your key accountabilities will include:

• Manage and plan activities to ensure deliverables are implemented by engineering plans, design, and specifications
• Completing inspections - stage, bolting, and associated shaft equipment
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Legislation, Codes of Practice, policies, procedures & specifications, and practices to meet client requirements.
• Ensure tasks are completed to the project schedule.
• Day to day managing of personnel to meet production and safety requirements.
• Assist with the preparation for site budgets and project reports.
• Assist the Project Manager with personnel activities, including reporting, identifying shortfalls, and preparing development and action plans
• This is a Hands-on role where you will be directly involved in operational issues.
• Conduct daily work planning meetings / toolbox
• Assisting recruitment with online interviews for new personnel.

Requirements:

• Must have a WA Shift Supervisor's Certificate
• A strong background in running and managing underground and shaft operations
• Ability to apply for and provide a National Police Clearance
• Valid C Class Manual driver's license
• White Card
• Working at Heights Certificate
• Dogman Certificate (Preferred)
• Shotfiring Licence (Preferred)
