Our services span from initial planning and investment, through start-up and operations.Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day. Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2. Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets.Major Responsibilities:

Leadership / SupervisionSupervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned.Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.Planning / ProductivityDetermines workforce requirements.Coordinates established area operational plans.Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site.Oversees the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.Safety & QualityEnsures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors’ performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.TechnicalWorks with Construction Field Engineers and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documentsOversees engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Leading Hands and Craft Professionals.Compressor, generator, turbine - installs, inspections, servicing, and alignmentsPump installs, inspections, servicing, and alignments.Knowledge of Flange face machining.Fin fan cooler motors - new installs, shaft bearings installs & replacements, alignments. Along with Cooler fan shroud setup & blade pitch angles adjustments.Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experienceRequired Knowledge and Skills:

Displays effective communications skills crucial to motivating team members and presenting plans in a clear and concise manner.Strong experience of liaising with and coordinating sub-contractorsExcellent problem-solving abilityKnowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experienceAdditional Information

This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required.
