i-PRO is a global vendor in the security industry, offering industry leading Edge AI and IP video surveillance products, including IP cameras with AI engines, smart recording & management software solutions and key technology partnerships for industry leading end-to-end security solutions.
Recent rebranding from Panasonic to i-PRO globally, has enabled significant growth opportunities within the Australian market, allowing i-PRO to now add a new Regional Business Development Manager in Brisbane to join their expanding national sales & business development team.
Position & Responsibilities
The Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Engaging with new and existing System Integrators, Resellers, Partners, Consulting & Engineering Firms and End Users.
- Educating End Users and Consultants on products and solutions
- Setting up & conducting detailed product & solution demonstrations and proof of concepts
- Regularly updating the channel with the latest products and solutions
- Work with Distribution, Partners & Sales Engineers to identify and respond to tenders as required
- Identify, grow and successfully secure new business opportunities
- Manage and strengthen existing tier 1 and tier 2 accounts, whilst supporting growth activities with national accounts and opportunities as & when required
- Work with other BDMs, Sales Staff and Sales Engineers to achieve territory and national targets and performance goals
- Travelling to and throughout assigned territories and to the national office as and when required to undertake all tasks relevant to the role
Requirements
The successful applicant will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- Prior business development, account management or sales experience with a manufacturer, preferably from the Security industry.
- Strong knowledge of IP Surveillance, Analytics, CCTV and/or Video Management Software will be advantageous.
- They will have a hunter mentality, with a strong desire to find net new opportunities whilst supporting enduring relationships.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to adapt to existing and new technologies with a view to clearly presenting technology outcomes to all key stakeholders.
- A good understanding of security, networking, and IT products & technologies
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven & demonstrated track record of sales success.
- Able to work autonomously, remotely and with online CRM tools.
- Able to follow the company strategy and adapt to changes as required within an evolving environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial acumen
