Brisbane City, Österreich Bluefin Resources Vollzeit
The Role

A large private organisation in Queensland is looking for a Program Director to lead a payroll system implementation and several business improvement initiatives to achieve significant transformation in their corporate office function. Siting directly in the business, this role will see you working across the senior leadership team that includes the CIO, COO and CHRO.

This program is at the design stage with funding and the business case fully approved. You will have direct input to the program set up from inception to completion where you will appoint specialist leaders for each stream of work, as well as build a large project team to support delivery. You will work closely with a Tier 1 Systems Integrator and Big 4 assurance provider to ensure program success.

While the core of the program is focused on a large payroll implementation, we are looking for someone who also has experience in areas such as business transformation, strategy development and target operating model design in corporate office functions. You will support strategy development and prioritisation of key business initiatives in other corporate functions and look for opportunities for business improvement through effective change management and process automation.

This program is expected to run for 2 years with opportunities to take on other projects post completion. This role is based just outside of Brisbane CBD with a minimum of 3 days expected in the office. Unfortunately, applications from candidates wanting fully remote working will not be considered.

Responsibilities:
  1. Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end implementation of our new payroll system, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  2. Stakeholder engagement and change management: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors, to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.
  3. Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies to successfully drive the implementation from initiation to completion.
  4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address any roadblocks to ensure project success.
  5. Compliance: Ensure all payroll system implementations adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining data security and confidentiality throughout the process.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes and enhance system capabilities to streamline payroll operations further.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Program Manager, specifically leading payroll system implementations and associated corporate office business systems improvements.

Proven experience in leading significant business transformation in corporate office or shared services functions.

In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, compliance, and industry best practices.
