What does the job look like?
Based at a key site in Kemps Creek and working on our 7/14 PM roster (12:30pm to 10:30pm) The Transport Coordinator role will be primarily responsible for allocation of runs to Linfox subcontractor group to deliver online orders and monitor safe work practices during shift which involves incident response management and internal / external stakeholder engagement. Key Areas:
- Incident response management which may involve evidence collection, driver interviews and escalations.
- Allocation of appropriate subcontractor group to assigned stores / regions to complete Woolworths Online Deliveries
- Assist in GS troubleshooting steps for subcontractors while assigning drivers & Regos to runs as required
- Monitor and plan for optimum utilisation & redundancy of fleet across multiple regions where possible
- Management of critical KPIs during shift – HHC, OTA, OTD which may require troubleshooting if the drivers can’t login on time or if the HHD / applications fail)
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of all customer / admin enquiries
Are you the one?
We are looking for experienced administrative professionals that ideally have a previous background with the transport/Logistics industry. Candidates with prior fleet allocating/transport coordinating experience will be highly regarded but training will be provided for the right candidate. You can also demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a similar role involving transport load planning, driver allocating/management or fleet allocating desirable
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills – experience with TMS highly regarded
- Sound geographical knowledge
- Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high-pressure environment
- High level of written and verbal communications skills
