Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
We are currently seeking an experience, enthusiastic & highly organised Logistics Manager to join our busy and dynamic team.
The primary objective of this role is to support the Head of Integrated Operations Centre in managing the day-to-day activities of the Logistics and Supply Planning functions of the Sharp Business Solutions and Display Solutions businesses.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Direct management of the Supply Planning and Logistics (3PL) team
- Fixed and variable budget management
- Operational report creation and analysis
- Consistent and continuous process improvement
- SOP creation and maintenance
- Consistent and continuous improvement of customer satisfaction
- Ensure a high degree of data accuracy across all Sharp systems
Candidate Criteria

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in managing small to medium sized team
- Demonstrated experience in logistics
- Demonstrated reporting experience
- Advanced working knowledge of SAP
- Medium to advance knowledge of salesforce CRM
- Medium to advanced Microsoft excel skill level
- Medium Microsoft office suite skill level
- High level reporting and analytical ability
- High level written and oral communication ability
- High-level problem-solving ability
- Excellent time management ability

In 1912, founder, Tokuji Hayakawa, was awarded a patent for the "Tokubijo" snap buckle (he was 18 years old at the time). On September 15, the same year, he established a small metalworking shop in Tokyo. The company began with three employees and initial capital of just under 50 yen.
In 1915, Mr. Hayakawa continued to research and improve techniques to manufacture a metal writing instrument which, at the time, had not yet been developed. In 1915, he invented a mechanical pencil named the "Ever-Sharp Pencil" that took the world by storm. The name of the company today and its trademark are derived from this product.
In May 1935, the structure of the company was modified to become a joint-stock corporation under the name Hayakawa Metal Works Institute Co. (capitalization: 300,000 yen.)
