Position Overview: We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Head of Product to play a pivotal role in shaping technological direction and product strategy. This role is crucial in driving transformative growth, automating workflows, and connecting food businesses with sustainable procurement solutions. The ideal candidate will lead and inspire a high-performing product and engineering team, ensuring alignment with their mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafting the Product Roadmap: Shape, refine, and launch a product roadmap that hits the sweet spot between customer needs, market opportunities, and staying ahead of the competition.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Team up with the Executive, Commercial, Data, and Finance teams to ensure alignment across all stages of product development and launch.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide strategic architectural guidance to the team, leveraging your technical expertise.
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring we deliver top quality products on time.
  • Innovator: Stay ahead of the curve by spotting emerging tech that can boost our existing products and inspire new ones.
  • User Experience (UX): Advocate for a user-first approach, making sure our products are intuitive and fun to use.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high performing Product and Technology team, encouraging growth and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head of Product or similar leadership role in a tech-driven environment.
  • Strong background in product strategy, development, and management, with a focus on driving transformative growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of assembling and leading high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of technological trends and their impact on product innovation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passion for sustainability and commitment to reducing food waste.
  • Experience in the food industry or a related field is a plus.
