The Opportunity
Our client is a leading provider within the financial services sector.
With recent and expected growth over the long term the new role of Human Resources Manager has been created. Part of the organisations leadership team, this new role is critical to ensure a 'People First' agenda for the organisation is established and that the under-pinning cultural, operational, performance and policy structures are in place to support an aggressive growth agenda.
The Role
As the HR Manager, you will provide functional leadership and strategic advice, guiding leaders and employees through the entire employee lifecycle. You will manage a broad range of HR activities, including, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and compliance with best practices and legislation.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services you will:
- Advise on HR policies, procedures, and initiatives
- Put in place and drive employee engagement initiatives
- Resolve employee matters, minimising organisational risks
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes
- Maintain quality relationships and manage conflicts effectively
- Handle performance, disciplinary issues, and grievances
- Coach and support on employee relations
- Partner with Finance for payroll administration
- Manage HR reporting and data through HR systems in conjunction with the IT team
- Optimise workforce efficiency in collaboration with leadership
- Design and deliver learning & development activities
- Develop talent pipelines and lead special HR projects
You will manage on direct report who will be support you across these activities
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields
- 5+ years in HR generalist roles
- You'll be comfortable to operate in a hands on manner to drive outcomes
- A positive disposition with the energy and enthusiasm to help drive a collective uplift in both employee engagement and HR capabilities
