Head of Property Management / Senior Property Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Property Management/Senior Property Manager to join our growing team.

About the Role:

This role is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the Property Management department and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will lead a team of property managers and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained. enhancing employee engagement and retention, and drive strong team performance and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the property management team to ensure efficient operations and high standards of service.
  • Develop and implement property management strategies to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Resolve tenant and landlord issues promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare financial and management reports, and oversee rent collection and lease renewals.
  • Mentor and train property management staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry best practices.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our property management portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, and industry partners.
  • Create and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to attract new clients.
  • Track and report on business development activities and outcomes.
  • Meet company KPIs and monitor Property managers' KPIs

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a proven track record in a senior or supervisory role.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

In-depth knowledge of property management regulations and best practices.

Proficiency in property management software and MS Office (Systems used: Property Me, Inspection Express, Inspect Real Estate).

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of real estate market trends and dynamics.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
