Senior Electrical Project Engineer

About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Perth. Reporting to the Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering tender packages as well as providing technical support to the tendering and project execution teams. Your duties will include:
- Complete detailed methodologies and tender schedules.
- Interpret drawings and review scopes of work to ensure they are reflected in pricing and project execution.
- Evaluate pricing, quotes, and estimates from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain tender pricing & documentation deliverables.
- Review and advise on commercial contracts and scope departures.
- Provide engineering technical support for project teams.
- Develop project deliverables for site execution including workpacks, QAQC documentation, execution methodologies, and schedules.
- Coordinate procurement of materials relevant to the scope in line with set budgets.
- Request quotes from and manage subcontractors relevant to the project.
- Maintain, track, and report on tender progress and performance.
- Liaise closely with clients, Warrikal management, and all other project staff.
- Ensure compliance with client QAQC requirements, as well as Company policies, plans, and procedures.
- Prepare Microsoft Project schedules and work to tight deadlines and budgets.
- Attend regular tender meetings on site to review scope as required.
Minimum tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. At least 4+ years’ experience with civil projects in the mining sector as an Engineer. Must have experience from tendering through to project execution. Autonomous worker who can adapt and work flexibly with business requirements. Willingness to travel on an ad hoc basis and be eligible to access client sites. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees. Proficient in the full MS Office Suite and MS Projects.
