You’ll contribute to:

  • Coordinate fraud reviews and gather supporting evidence in accordance with WorkCover's Fraud and Corruption Control Framework, including issuing Notices to Produce for information and engaging surveillance. Review fraud referrals, triaging for appropriate action, and make accurate and timely recommendations, completing and escalating referral reports to oversight bodies as required.
  • Work with operational areas to provide advice on fraud matters, training, and support on fraud-related processes, while liaising with various oversight agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Managing WorkCover’s whistleblowing service provider and processes.
  • Reviewing and developing fraud policies and frameworks aligned to industry best practice.
  • Manage WorkCover’s Fraud Register, ensuring timely completion of fraud referrals in line with legislative obligations, and collate and provide fraud data for quarterly reporting to the Board, Risk and Audit Committee, and Executive.

A bit about you:

  • Demonstrates quick adaptability to new processes and strong attention to detail. In addition, you will be adept at writing policies aligned to fraud industry best practice.
  • Holds relevant investigation qualifications, adheres to best practice standards, and possesses in-depth understanding of compliance and risk management concepts.
  • Excels in communication, stakeholder engagement, and fostering collaboration with oversight agencies and business units.
  • Displays strategic thinking, contributes to process improvement, and works effectively within a team to achieve objectives.
